I started this brand with one intention: to sort through the internet noise.
As a health and fitness novice, I have always felt extremely overwhelmed by all of the different voices telling me what to do and what not to do.
Should I count calories or macros? Do I eliminate all sugar, bread and artificial ingredients? Or how about intermittent fasting?
Do I focus on cardio or is strength training more important? Workout six days a week or three? HIIT? CrossFit? Water aerobics? Goat Yoga?
The answer to all the above questions: Yes.

Here’s where I come in.
More than anything, I want people to focus on their whole person.
Physical, mental, social, emotional.
We are more than just bodies and our bodies need more than kale and squats.
We need love, care, patience, pizza, creativity, council, a belief system, dad jokes, hugs, a good Netflix binge, pie, rest (and then also kale and squats.)
I won’t give you the same spiel you’ve heard over and over about how we put too much emphasis on weight, measurements and general beauty standards.
You’ve read the articles, post and blogs (some of them written by yours truly) but now you need to know how to get there.
How do I stop putting physical appearance over my spiritual health?
How do I maintain healthy friendships and also start to like how I look in photographs?
How do I get control of my emotions enough to have discipline during workouts?
Well, read on.
Follow this journey that I’m on and we can navigate this together.
I’ll explore topics like trendy diets, self-care (hint: it’s not all about bubble baths and scented candles), essential oils and how to get disciplined; while also doing the occasional recipe review, life updates, best apps for XYZ and letting out your inner creative child with arts and crafts.
We’re all about balance here at My Peak Journey.
I hope you stick around and see what’s in store. It won’t be perfect but it’ll be a starting point.
